CLIENT PARTNERSHIPS PROPERTY – INTERNAL CLAIMS ADVISERS
LOCATIONS: GLASGOW

Brief role outline

  • Accurately and promptly accept and process new instructions as far as competently possible.
  • Accurately input data.
  • Manage client instructions through the development of high quality interpersonal skills and create good client relationships built around trust, respect and speedy resolution of assignments.
  • Appointment making, diary management.
  • Dealing with telephone queries, day to day within agreed service criteria.
  • Seek new opportunities to “sell” to existing and new clients.
  • Processing invoices, both interim and finals, referring where necessary.
  • Reviewing cases in a proactive manner and taking action to move claim forward, referring where necessary.
  • Dealing with and liaising with insurers and policy holders as appropriate.

CLIENT PARTNERSHIPS PROPERTY – EXTERNAL CLAIMS ADVISERS
LOCATIONS: HOME-BASED

Brief role outline

  • Working within strict service level agreements and in accordance with policy schedules, conduct field visits and site investigations for property claims.
  • Establish facts of the claim, assess damage/losses via interview/statement collection from policy holder and carry out thorough inspection.
  • Comply with FSA regulations where appropriate.
  • Use of hand-held Delta device to record and assess and communicate details of loss to appropriate department internally or externally, and assess level of claim and settle where appropriate.
  • Produce high quality written site investigation reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits.
  • Deal with and liaise with policy holders’ queries/concerns as appropriate.

COUNTER FRAUD SOLUTIONS – INVESTIGATOR
LOCATIONS: HOME-BASED, COVERING LONDON

Brief role outline

  • Manage a caseload from various principles within client specific Service Level Agreements.
  • Attend appointments having completed pre visit enquiries in conjunction with Technician.
  • To investigate loss and / or damage claims in detail using all external sources available and providing advice and assistance to policyholders and managing their expectations.
  • Ensuring that all files are maintained.
  • Validate policy cover in relation to the loss or damage. Advise policyholders and principals in relation to policy indemnity, legal liability and quantum.
  • To achieve financial targets and provide support to other members of the team in assisting them in achieving their targets and where required provide them with additional support.
  • Providing regular updates to Technicians, Insurers and Branches in accordance with internal processes and client service standards.
